My 2013 Tribe Prediction? 90 Wins, of Course.

There are lots of reasons why the Indians will win 90 games this year… a dramatically improved infield, significantly better hitting, a bullpen that never quits, a starting rotation that will surprise a lot of people (in a very good way) and a new manager whose experience runs as deep as his passion.

But I am not hanging my hat on any of these reasons.

Instead, I am clearly focused on what will soon be recognized as the best outfield in the majors.

In the field they are young, defensive minded outfielders with bionic legs and rocket arms.  At home plate they are free-swinging robots.  And once on base, all bets are off.

I can’t remember the last time I looked at an Indians outfield and was so awed by the potential at all three positions.  Last year we were introduced to the Bullpen Mafia.  This year, prepare to meet The Fast and The Furious (Brantley, Bourn and Stubbs)… and my reason for predicting 90 wins.

The tour bus leaves the station at 7:07 p.m.  We are on the Road to 90.
