You say Jhonny, I say Goodbye

Jhonny Peralta, or as I refer to him, the John Lowenstein of the new Indians era, is gone. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but he proved to be little more than an average ballplayer.

So, it’s been nice knowing you, but I am not sad to see you go.  In fact, if you can get Kerry Wood and Travis Hafner to go with you, my evil plan for re-inventing this Indians team will be complete.

It’s not personal, it’s just business.  The Tribe is on track to become a powerful pitching and hitting machine and you guys just do not fit into the plan. Even John Lowenstein managed to connect better with the fans in the 70s than any of these three guys have over the past few seasons.

So good luck… have great careers… make lots of money.  But you will not be missed.

42 down, 48 to go… almost half way there.
