Walking the Razor’s Edge

“The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard.”

I know what you’re thinking before you even think it. It’s time to go old school.  We need the voodoo magic and secret mojo of Pedro Cerrano on this team.  We need to coat those bats with viagra.  We need to start docking players their pay every time they fail to get a hit.

You are so predictable.  Typical Cleveland fan reaction. It starts with fear, always the fear.  Then it moves on to doubt and uncertainty. Then you are gripped with the reality that it is fate and fate alone.

Man, how do you live with yourself?

It’s a game; enjoy it. Does it sting just a little in the backside when your team goes to the top of the 9th inning with a two run lead only to lose 5-4? Yeah, it chaps my ass. But I ain’t cutting the head off no chicken and I ain’t burning any incense.

Have a little confidence.  Have a little faith.  Have a couple beers and chill the hell out. We are on the cusp of a spectacular season.  It is most certainly going to happen, but you are going to die of a heart attack before we get there.

Yes Tom Neumann, it is still 10 down and 80 to go. Punk.

Swept by Toronto and you think they are on the cusp of a spectacular season? Don’t hate me because I can spot the obvious – it’s the burden I carry.

Yes, perhaps we need to give you a new nickname: Captain Obvious.
